SAMARPANA
where music becomes reflection, inner alignment and an offering!
The Three Pathways at SAMARPANA

The Alignment Path (ages 13+)
The Alignment Path is for learners returning to Carnatic music after a period of distance or uncertainty. It offers a space to slowly reconnect with the basics, not just as revision, but as a way of understanding them more clearly. Attention is given to areas that may feel unclear or incomplete, helping students rebuild their learning with greater steadiness. Over time, this process supports a more grounded sense of direction and confidence.

The Immersion Path (ages 18+)
The Immersion Path invites adult learners to engage with Carnatic music in a more thoughtful and unhurried way. Learning here is shaped by listening, questioning, and reflection, rather than simply moving through a set syllabus. It is suited for those who want to deepen their understanding and spend time with the music more meaningfully. The focus is on allowing insight to grow gradually through sustained engagement.

The Companion Path (ages 18+)
The Companion Path is a space for emerging Carnatic artists beginning to shape their identity as performers. It offers conversational, unstructured sessions for moments of self-doubt, creative block, or uncertainty about direction. The focus is on reflection, perspective, and connection to one’s practice, helping a clearer, more grounded artistic voice to emerge over time
