Becoming a performer in Carnatic music is a journey of skill, relentless practice, and self-discovery, and it can sometimes feel lonely. Along the way, one may face performance anxiety, burnout, moments of comparison, or creative blocks. ​

 

​The Companion Path is a private, one-to-one space where you can share your music, your experiences, and your reflections. I walk alongside you - not to judge or fix, but to help you explore what arises in your practice and performance, and to deepen your understanding of your music and the artistic path you are walking.

In our conversations, music becomes a mirror for reflection. We might explore your repertoire choices, practice routines, performance experiences, the weariness that can come from traveling between concerts, or even share recordings for gentle feedback -  all in the spirit of growth, presence, and attunement with your own musical journey.

This space is for emerging performers aged 18 and above who want:

• Thoughtful reflection on their musical journey

• Insight into performance anxiety, comparison, or creative blocks

• Connection and companionship within the Carnatic music world

• A musical sounding board - someone to explore ideas with, listen to recordings together, discuss stylistic differences, or reflect on past artists

• A deeper understanding of the personal and spiritual dimensions of their music

​** There is no requirement to book a set number of sessions, or any ongoing commitment - each session is scheduled individually, whenever you feel the need for conversation or reflection.
